New Wikipedia article

For my new wikipedia article I am currently working on a page for SLUG (Salt Lake Under Ground) Magazine, a free magazine based out of downtown. I have not yet made an edit but am working on a basic bio.

The bio will include a history section, current status of the company, artists the magazine has covered and what a current issue contains.

1- Use photos/images

2- Research would be any information on the magazine and its influence in the city.

3- I would expect to see images of the magazine, what their subject matter is, a history of them and when they got started, and any influential articles they have produced.

Great topic. Links to editions of the magazine or if they have a website would be cool. Pictures of art used in it and links to some articles. The history of the magazine is a great idea, would like to see references for your research.

1. A picture of the magazine would be helpful, also citations would add a lot.

2. References could include the magazine website itself (if there is one), or links to articles that have been published on the web.

3. I would want to know about how it got started, who started it, what it covers, how it is organized and published.

Great topic!

Here are the commandments I think you should look at:
Examine the edit history before making changes - has it always been this short
Be accurate and concise in your writing - think encyclopedia
article length
Cite/list references - no original research, everything needs to be available for a secondary source
Be professional in tone and habits, proofread - you need to at least appear disinterested
2 - research would include anything published in the magazine, as well as other articles on the magazine
3 - I expect to see a time line/history, circulation, summary of the magazine's goals, important articles, context in relationship to other press, business model, if appropriate (subscription, advertising based, etc.)

I've actually picked up a copy of this magazine when i was at a club downtown a few months ago. Can you be sure to put in a disclaimer that it leaves an inky residue on your hands when you read through it? Or maybe i should just stop licking my fingers so much

1 -- picture of the actual publication

2 -- This type of research will require mostly history but also influences. I just said that because I had nothing else to put on number two

3 -- research who puts it together, when it got started, what bands and news are lucky enough to be included

4 -- I'm always impressed with your stuff so I'm excited to read about what you say about the slug
